About Me
I am a child of God, wife of a wonderful, super smart computer genius turned pastor in training, mom to three amazing blessings, and the biggest ditz around. I am blogging through this transition I am making from being a normal, everyday girl to an everyday girl who also happens to be a pastor’s wife.
I love to cook, garden, mess around with my camera, get creative, sleep as much as I can, and also drink a lot of coffee (with an equal amount of cream). I am learning what it means to walk my faith and be loved by God…and I am also learning to see myself the way God sees me, and embrace that!
I am a recovering perfectionist and have walked through the dark tunnel of anxiety and depression. I think I was asked to go through the darkness in order to see the Light. I hope that those times for me will lead me to bring hope and understanding to others who are struggling with all kinds of issues.
I dream of being a missionary in Africa. I want to have a billion kids (but feel so blessed with the three that I have!). I would like to get a dog some day. And a horse. I am an Indiana farm girl turned Ohio suburbanite and now a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina.
I am making a decision to try my best to be real. Be me. And be happy about it!
